Halfway House Programme
In these few years of being part of the social and welfare Ministry, we have noticed the need for providing shelter for the people as an essential need. The people we have been ministering to seem to have some ties with the darker side of life such as gangsterism, drugs, drunkenness, uncontrollable lust and evil desires. We also noticed that those living in these circumstances have unknowingly embraced a life that has little or no moral values. Some have faced harsher circumstances such as imprisonment or in some cases fatality.
In order to counter these social illnesses, we started a “Halfway House Program”.
The program helps individuals by providing them with a temporary shelter, where we provide food, counselling, prayer, help get them decent jobs, and give them opportunities to learn new skills.
Our aim is to equip these individuals with right skills and a positive mind set and send them back into society, where they can contribute positively to our nation’s growth.
